Friday The 13th

Today is Friday the 13th of June just in case you were not aware! So i thought I would post about why this is considered the unluckiest day of the year! Or in my case the day that I am spending entirely in my bed just so I am sure nothing unlucky can touch me. I would also like to point out that today happens to also be a full moon, coincidence? I just thought I would mention here that the full moon crossing over with Friday the 13th is extremely rare according to scientists and wont occur again until 2049!
So the earliest written evidence of Friday the 13th being a 'thing' dates back only to the 19th century, with Friday being an unlucky day, and 13 being an unlucky number.

Friday Is Unlucky, Since When?
Most people in today's society look forward to Fridays, its the end of the working week why would they? They can go out and party or simply choose to do, well nothing. But for others Friday has been seen as the unluckiest day of the week, since the 14th century. According to old tales Friday is a very bad day to undertake journeys or begin projects! There you go guys, there is your excuse for not wanting to begin a work or school projects "Sorry Sir, its Friday, no can do unless you want me to be cursed with bad luck."

But 13 is T-Swizzles Favourite Number!
Country/Pop superstar, Taylor Swift has always been public about her love of the number thirteen and it bringing her luck, including writing the number on her hand, but why do the rest of us fear the number? That would be because 12 is such a whole number! 12 months in a year, 12 signs of zodiac ect, 13 is really nothing. 13 is seen as "irregular, and disrespectful as a sense of perfection, the number 13 bears the stigma of misfortune and bad luck as we know today"- according into one scientific website.
